Electrochromic rear view mirror
Has anyone installed and auto dimming electrochromic rear view mirror on their truck? I saw a couple in Chrysler cars at the pick and pull today with auto dim mirrors, but don't know if they work. Might be a handy addition to my old beater. Is is difficult to do? Most seem to have the temp sensor now.

Re: Electrochromic rear view mirror
I just did this a few weeks ago. I got the mirror from another member on this forum. I think it is from a GM vehicle. It has a compass and temp. The wiring is pretty easy-power, ground, and two wires to temp sensor that mounts behind the grill. There is also a wire that goes to the reverse lights that turns off the auto dimming in reverse. I havent hooked up the wire to the back up lights yet, but it seems to work fine withou this.
