Power brake question

Hey guys,

I have a 68 with Power drum brakes, I am going to install 71-72 disc brakes upfront , the donor truck was not power disc brakes.

can i re use my power brake booster that is in my 68 and just bolt on the 71-72 master cylinder to that 68 brake booster ?

Or do i have to get a 71-72 brake booster

Yes. There's no difference between disc and drum brake boosters.

Re: Power brake question

The booster is the same but you will need to swap the drum/ drum proportioning valve for the drum/ disc proo valve from the 72.
