Funny painting experience
Long time follower, not much of a poster, but I thought yall would get a laugh out of this. After over 100hrs of bodywork on my dually bed I had it perfect (in primer), needed to haul off trash a couple weeks ago, blew the inside right dual & completely took out the right fiberglass fender & managed to dent the heck out the entire right bedside rendering all of my bodywork useless.
So I pulled the bed off to put a flatbed on & decided to go ahead & paint the cab while the bed was off. So I enlisted my wife's help to scuff everything up & shoot it, and she was 100% ready to help! Because she was really into the project for once I let her pick out the paint color, and this is where I went wrong. The color she picked out is a very ugly shade of green, closely resembling a '80s plumber truck color! ![]() She loves the color so I'm going to leave it and learn to love it, but guys be darn careful when you ask for help! Lol. (And yes I installed new cab light lenses after painting, these were cracked so I just painted over them) Scott Posted via Mobile Device |
