exhaust question....
I'm gonna be placing dual aluminum exhaust on my truck after the crate motor is running.
I wanted to find out if I could use a bassani x pipe off a previous exhaust setup I have laying around.obviously ill be ditching the cats, but could it be used on my c10 , cutting it up is totally fine. I just love the sound of the bassani x pipes ![]() Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: exhaust question....
What's the diameter? If it's the size of exhaust you want to run,you should be able to use it,but good luck getting an exhaust shop to use something they didn't sell(other than a muffler or cat). The only other problem I can think of is interference.

Re: exhaust question....
True they may be lame about it , its same diamater (2.5") same as what exhaust ill be running.
Ill take the x pipe setup to my mechanics and see what kinda clearance I'm working with. If I cut the part below the brace that sits below the cats wouldn't that be ok and still be functional?? Posted via Mobile Device |
