Bumper size

I found a salvage one ton '59 apache that I want to take the bumpers and gauges from for my '57 3200. Will the bumpers fit from a one ton to half ton. It looked like they were all the same on 47-59 on lmc's website.

Re: Bumper size

If 47-59 are all the same, I have a rough one from my '51 I could use.

Re: Bumper size

No, '47 2nd series - '55 1st series are different from '55 2nd series-'59.

As far as the 1 ton bumpers fitting on 1/2 ton I'm not certain but on the Advance Design trucks they do(1/2 ton - 1 ton). It's when you get to the bigger trucks(1 1/2 ton plus) they were different. One other thing is that the rear bumpers on the Task Force trucks would be different step side compared to Fleetside('58-'59). I'd think a 1 ton would work for the 1/2 ton, maybe measure and see.

Gauge cluster would be the same '55.2-'59.

Check the LMC site again, it should tell you what is correct. Some things on their web site/books are hard to read.
