Finally gonna start a build thread. Sorry guys bear with me missing lot of pics. But better than nothing. Here's what I started with. Been in the family for about 20+ years. Use to be a beautiful truck but sat in sun for years. Then after attending UTI I did a little bodywork then I let it sit again. But now I am pushing to get it ready for 2011. Let me know what you think.

Thanks guys... Hey Dino, not trying to be a kiss a** but your trucks are motivation to my build. Btw I found a 60-66 panel a block away from my house.... Maybe another project coming soon.

This was my second attempt at bridge......2" drop blocks, kp links rear mount under bed bag brackets mounted fwd, airlift dominator 2500's, 1/2 in dot airline (temporary) and some square tubing.

So I was bored with the setup, plus even after grinding down the square tubing to clear rear end I decided to change it up a bit. Put a little twist in it.

Capped off 2" square tubing and removed that ugly 3/4" bar, replaced it with a 1" square tubing at end of frame.

Welded up and some paint. The panhard bar is just handtight in a bolt hole until I recieve the bracket in the mail....got tired of seeing it laying around the house....believe me guys it's not staying there just a mock up. It will be mounted under the left notch.

I decided to fab up my own panhard bar bracket so I went down to metal supply store and bought some 1/4 in strap. Factory measures 3/16 but I decided to beef it up so here are some rough pics....I do alot of my work the old school way, it just takes more grinding to make it a quality of my liking. I will post up more this evening.

Welded up my door handles and did some body work, put some flat black and some bondo dust on it to match the rest of the truck....LOL... I will be welding up the mirror holes tomorrow.
