Oil pressure dummy light?

i bought a new AAW harness for a 72 chevy i am rejuvenating. it has a plug for an oil pressure dummy light. the truck has gauges so no oil pressure switch to hook up to. by looking at the wiring diagrams it looks like the wire would be a keyed hot through the cluster harness.

so my questions are:

am i correct that it is keyed 12v?

i want to use it for the elec. choke. is this dumb?

also, what is a good rating for the inline glass fuses?

thanks

Ryan
