I have a 84 Chevy shortbed that I just changed the tranny from 700r4 to a 400 turbo with np203 transfer case. I put a tourque converter from a 350 turbo in it and now the truck won't go over 35 mph. What did I do wrong!!

Is it shifting gears? A 700 uses a cable to shift and a 400 uses a vacuum modulator. Did you hook all that up?

Yes it is shifting changed over cable to vacuum.

Does it seem like it is slipping, revving up high? Might need more details.

Drives fine shifts fine until it gets to about 35 then motor bogs out and dies 305 all stock runs good

When the motor starts bogging, can you throw it in neutral and rev it? It sounds engine related to me.

I agree, could be related to a lack of fuel flow. Run it thru the gears hard to see want happens.
