1958 Napco stepside

I found one of these trucks way to the west of me-58 stepside long box 3200---owner claims a Napco conversion 4wd It has the 235 rebuilt/carb/exhaust and very little rust on this truck. He has a price of $6500 i dont think this is out of line yet I always research anything I buy and I cant find any to compare this one to. Title is pending to him---
Is it extremely rare?

They are rare. Extremely, no. Desirable, yes.

My cousin drives one for his daily when the weather is decent. Mind you, his has a 350/700R4. Quite a rare truck

Re: 1958 Napco stepside

Need more info and pics to gauge value. Rare yes, but the 4x4's aren't in high demand like the 2wd and it's a long box not a short box. There's a few around still and daily drivers can be had for $7gs easy and in good shape aka rust free. If it's a project truck, then it'd be more around $3-4,000 from what I see around. Depends on the areas market also though.

http://www.napco4x4.org/

58-59 are worth less than a 55-57, and the longbox takes away from the value, but for $6500 for a little rust NAPCO with rebuilt engine, you can't go wrong
