I have a Saginaw now but have been told that the Saginaw with overdrive is really not strong enough. Now sure what it will take to replace a Saginaw unit with a Muncie. I suspect if I did replace it I would go with the Muncie

The saginaw is stronger and fully sycroed way better in my opinion 7 bolt side cover on yours ? Correct?

The muncie 4 sp is stronger than the sag but not the muncie 3 sp
