1972 Suburban Introduction
Hello, checking in!
Earlier this month, a took possession of this 1972 K20 Suburban. Pic from Craigslist Ad Motor today. <Insert 383 here> I have started the tear down already and I am looking forward to rebuilding it back up to be either a daily driver or a split time vehicle. Removed the rack Found this little fella when I took out the headliner My Daily Driver which I will scavenge the better parts off of. I have been checking out the site for the last month or so. It is really informative and I look forward to hanging out here. |

I like it. I own it's twin. Do you have a pic of the SPID? Looks like it was originally Medium Olive. Being from California does it have the dealer installed 50 gallon gas tank? I've seen several equipped that way on this board.

Welcome to the board! Looks like you have a great truck to start with. I've been wanting a 383 for quite a while now but I can't decide if I want to buy a crate or build my own. The prices on the crate 383's are pretty reasonable. Good luck with your project and keep us updated..... LockDoc

Welcome!
Nice to see another 4x4 Suburban in my area (I am in the Temecula area).
