Mixed parts small block lump

I picked up a cheap 350 a while back for the Mrs's project and over the long weekend finally cleaned it up which gave me a chance to note the numbers:

The short numbers I have no idea about but managed to work out that it's a '74 engine probably a bit of a boat anchor 145bhp Camaro...?

Heads -

Again managed to work out that these are pretty boring 76cc heads. The thing that got me wondering is that these heads are older than the block if I interpreted the info correctly? Interestingly the seller was unaware of the 600 Holley and the Edelbrock intake yet claimed that it was cam'd. The area around the springs and rockers are very clean and healthy looking.
