Colored window tint

I like the old gasser cars with the red, green, blue, yellow window tint. Has anyone driven a car with colored tint?

Re: Colored window tint

There is a fella over on the HAMB that built a very cool Unibody pick up. He used red tinted windows (not on the windshield). Didn't take too long for him to dump the red tint. Said it really messed with his eyes.

I have red plexi windows for my panels barn doors (if I ever get that far), I don't think it will be any bother out back like that.

Re: Colored window tint

Good info, I can imagine it would be a little like wearing safety glasses while driving.

Not on any of my trucks but I built a chopped '27 Ford 2 dr sedan and used a light Green tinted plexiglass for everything except the windshield. I didn't have any trouble driving it.

Re: Colored window tint

I bet the color of the tint makes a difference, didn't really consider that until LocDoc mentioned the green
