Electric fan
I have been running my Blazer 350 this summer 96* and when running my A/C the engine temp creeps upwards to 200* in traffic at a stop light. I don't like my engine to run much over normal operating temp 185*. I am curious about installing a electric cooling fan kit. What is your experience with that set up? Who has the best set up? I would like to buy a kit with everything that is needed to install it. Thank for any suggestions. Alex

Nothing wrong with electric if that's what you want, but there's no need for it. You are a long way from overheating. Couple things to consider:
1. A stock cooling system, with everything in good working order (including a shroud & clutch fan), should never overheat. 2. Have you verified that your temp readings are correct? 3. 200* is far from overheating. Water boils at 212*, 50/50 antifreeze mix boils at 226* (unpressurized) and at 259* at 12 psi.
