So Who has the best rear gas tank these days
I've been considering moving my gas tank to the rear of the truck for a long time now, haven't looked much lately and now I'm ready to do it. So Who has the best one these days for a lowered short bed. Pics would be great and all ideas very welcome
Thanks Steve 1970 CST Short Wide

You have a multitude of options for rear tanks. I think the ECE Stainless Steel Rear Tank is the best although at 899.00 or so pricey.

I'd have a look at these PB ones. Go to the bottom of this page: http://pbfab.com/shop-by-vehicle/che...2-chevy-trucks

Boyd's for sure. The new ones come equipped with the EFI port. So if you're running a stock engine and later on decide to run an LS engine, or switch to fuel injection, you won't have to buy a new tank. They're pretty slick, and very affordable! Have one in my truck and love it!

Re: So Who has the best rear gas tank these days
Here are a few pictures for you Steve. My tank is mounted on the top lip of the bottom frame rail which gives a little more clearance. But you can always mount it to the top of the frame as long as you raise the bed, or modify it.

I agree Boyd, they aren't cheap but they are first class. I installed one for my 5.3 swap.
