84 K10 SWB prep for DD

I bought this 1984 K10 about 6 weeks ago. It's been sitting since 2011 according to the registration. I'm going to make it my daily driver. So lets get started.










Since it's been 100 degrees out my son and I got after the undercarriage with a pressure washer.


The only rust was surface deep under the carpet.


We hit it with some 150 grit and painted enamel to protect it. Remember it's just a DD.




used some left over sound deadener from another project and reinstalled the carpet. I'll buy new carpet later.



More mechanical stuff to come. That's it for now.
