1971 chevy truck
I have changed the wiring on this truck with OEM harness. It has a one wire alternator which I eliminated regulator. I connected the center two wires, (red and white) as well as the (blue and brown wires) thus completing the loop. The problem I'm having is every time I turn the right turn signal on the hi beam indicator flashes with the turn signal flasher but not on instrument cluster, the left turn signal operates correctly. If I turn headlights on hi beam the rt. turn signal light on dash lights continuously even though it works correctly. The green wire is in correct place off head light switch which operates cluster lights but they don't work either. I have changed the printed circuit in hopes of resolve with no change. All grounds are complete and have added tach with no problem. Some one tell me what I'm missing. Paul

Re: 1971 chevy truck
Hey Paul, Start with the ground wires, dash cluster, radiator support, engine and cab. etc. Might just be bad ground.
