When I put in my CH465 I didn't buy a rebuild kit. I just went and bought all the seals and gaskets from a local tranny shop. Didn't replace any bearings. The shop looked in the case while I had it there and said it was in great shape. Only needed two simple repairs. One was just an area on the shifter that had worn, the other was a clip that was broken.
If you have it out, consider running it by a shop and seeing if they will set you up with the stuff you need and do a quick visual inspection.
