Custom Rack and Pinion
Has anyone built one of these from scratch? I looked them up for prices and certainly not cheap. With the truck running good and street legal it’s time to dive into the steering. Gotta get this tightened up. With new rubber on it I don’t wanna be wearing funny.. it will be so nice to have it handling like new!

Re: Custom Rack and Pinion
Guys use the 5.0 mustang rack, but I have never seen one in pick a part to do a quicky mock up.

Re: Custom Rack and Pinion
I was more wondering if this can be built with hydraulic rams or something instead of a kit. Probably won’t be first on my list of parts. I’m thinking ball joints and tie rods are gonna need to be changed. Still need to inspect it

Re: Custom Rack and Pinion
Just go with the kit from No Limit. They are over in the Suspensions section. 100% bolt-in using a modified late-model Chevy truck rack.
