Sport Mirror Vendor Differences
Zane's 71 had sport mirrors from the factory. Purchased the ones from Brothers and the right side is useless. Known issue with a little research...after the purchase...
Local vendor says his will work for $50 per side. Probably going to try. Easier to return. Does anyone know if there is a sport mirror that actually works?

Re: Sport Mirror Vendor Differences
I have a set of sport mirrors that the passenger side is slightly convex. Allows me to see a little more. No way near as good as the original camper mirrors, but look a lot better. Mounted it as high and far forward as I could.

Re: Sport Mirror Vendor Differences
NOS are obviously the best choice but expensive. I found a non- perfect pair (1 inch scratch in stainless on back of mirror head) for $150.
Very happy with them. Or place a WTB ad for a used pair of OEM mirrors ?

Re: Sport Mirror Vendor Differences
I'd hold out for original. If your truck warrants it you'll spend maybe $250 for NOS. If you're not in a hurry, you can find nice OEM driver quality for under $50 each.
Just looked on Ebay, where you can buy a pair of NOS mirrors complete with backing plates, gaskets and pitting for just $800, and shipping is free ![]()
