How do you think it would look??
I've got to get new tires pretty soon and am debating if I want to change the look of my truck. I'm thinking about making it look something like this
![]() here's my truck for reference ![]() I'm going to try and photoshop (gimp for me) them on but anyone else is welcome to try. My chop skills aren't very good

Well.. I don't really want my truck lowered. I got a truck for a little ground clearance and some hauling. I've got 2 cars that sit on the ground and don't need a third. Also don't need 4 wheel drive. Never go off road except for a gravel driveway at our families lakehouse.
I'll have to look and see. I don't think I would want tires as big as mudder's but that does look awesome. Maybe some 31's or something would look decent. I dunno I'm still working on my photoshop... it looks like crap right now

I have a 67 stepside 2wd and was thinking of lifting it. I like that look better but the more I think about it I want to lower it. Now I'm just thinking about keeping it where it is with fat back tires. I don't know I'm very indecisive at this point in my restoration project. Maybe I should be thinking more about putting an engine and tranny in first, but than again it would probably be easier to work with the suspension without the guts in it. Thanks, Larry |

They both look good. See, thats the problem. Maybe I should flip a coin or something.
Better yet maybe I should buy another truck, raise one and drop the other ![]() I'll have to get rid of the wife first, she'll never go for it ![]() |

There's nothing wrong in lifting a 2by, it's all in what you want. If you do lift it consider maybe a baja style, that would be tough.
