'94 seat in '79 farm truck?
I am always trying to put something where it doesn't belong....I need to put a seat in an old beat-from-one-end-to-the-other 79 k20 feed truck. I don't want to put anything usable in a decent truck, because I know what will happen to it. I have a decent seat out of a 94. How close will it come to sitting in there decent? I know the mounting holes won't work. I'm sure I am not the first to try, so no since in me trying if it will just be waste of time. Thanks in advance.

Re: '94 seat in '79 farm truck?
Its pretty easy.
Take the 94 seat tracks off, use the square seat track. 2 bolts line up in the back. Make a spacer and a longer bent up front drill one hole per side and it's done. Slider works with 2 hog rings across the rear of the seat.

Re: '94 seat in '79 farm truck?
that sounds simple enough. Thank you.
But I just notice the 94 seat is something like a 60/40 split power seat. Guess I will go to plan B....Thanks for the info. |
