Yup, all the time--have no idea what they mean. I was told it had something to do with assembly. I'm sure someone here will know for sure

I've seen those markings many, many times... I suspect (and I'm probably wrong) they have something to do with settings on the line boring machine....

Wheew, that's good news. I mic'd the main-rod journals on the crank and the were std spec. Also mic'd the pistons and bores all std. I was getting worried I was going to need to calibrate my micrometers.
