4L80 dipstick
My donor did not have a trans dipstick and i'm looking for info/pics on how the factory trans dipstick looks/mounts on a swap in a 67-72 before I buy one. I'm not against bending it for clearance, but if it mounts in a crap spot i'll buy a flexible one. Thanks

Simple is worth the money. Thanks for the input, I was leaning towards a flexible one unless the factory one was a simple bolt in with minimal work involved.

I just bought a new tube and stick for.a 2003 2500 truck. It fit perfect No need to change to aftermarket.

I've used Lokar trans dip sticks in the past and they have worked well for me. But I hate shelling $100 for one. The stock dip sticks kind of come up and over too much for me. I bought a Tran-Adapt dip stick $27? and then shorten the tube and dip stick so it sticks just above the coil cover. Remarked the dip stick for fill levels.
