I have a friend changing back to Steel Wheels on his 65 truck and wants to know what the original color should be. Is it the same color as the body? Or were they painted and silver or off white color? The truck has a beige color with a white top.

For Chevrolet, wheels were black on single color trucks, body color on two-tone trucks.
