Bracket Identification - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Can anyone ID these 2 brackets and their applications? They both look like alternator brackets. The black bracket would be passenger side mounted and the cast bracket would be drivers side mounted. No part numbers. I got these in with a big lot of GM/Chevy brackets. I have searched the web with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

A.I.R./ Smog Pump?

Here is a picture of a AIR bracket. Close but doesn't exactly match.

V8 and L6 brackets may differ.

I have a California-made [and sold] truck. [292 L6, '68 C/10] It had A.I.R. when I bought it in '73. I was in North Carolina, in the military in 1975, when I was persuaded that stuff was unnecessary junk, so it all went in the Auto Hobby Shop GI can. I could have saved it but I was no longer tied to Calif.

You own a 3rd Gen Camaro/ Firebird?

Looks like a 1987 Camaro /Firebird non-serpentine alternator bracket (black one).

Or the black bracket could be for any SBC w/Long Water Pump and Alternator on passenger side.

To clarify, the 1987 used a full serpentine with tensioner pulley, and then they had a v-belt and serpentine belt without a tensioner pulley system, and I believe the black bracket takes into account for the wider 6 (?) rib belt for the latter system.

I was sent a link to a 3rd gen Camaro board for the black bracket. It is for 85-87 Camaro's with TPI. Carbureted cars used different brackets.
