LS firewall harness routing
I'm doing a clean up on my 61 firewall and am looking for a stock cleaned up look not a custom look. I have already filled in multiple holes and drilled a new hole for the chassis wiring harness and am wanting to put the hole in for the engine harness. I have a stock truck 5.3 with a BP swap harness. The cab isn't on the frame and the frame is at another location. I am wanting to put the computer under the seat. Anyone have any pictures on where they ran the harness through the firewall?

Re: LS firewall harness routing
For me, this seamed like the most natural spot as all the wires in my harness came together at the rear passenger side of the motor. FWIW, I installed the comp under the dash, to the right of the column.

Re: LS firewall harness routing
Thanks for the replies. The back wall would be a good place to mount if I have enough length, I think the harness extends 4' from the back of the intake.

Re: LS firewall harness routing
That’s the usual length, had my “custom “ built, most all the harness guys don’t want a special order…if I remember correctly my head length is 6’
