Where Does This Bracket Go???
Hi Everyone
I am in the process of putting my truck back together in the engine compartment and I have found a bracket in the parts bucket that I can't remember where it goes. The engine is a 292. It looks like some sort of support bracket for one of the engine components. any thoughts would be appreciated |

I've had a couple original 292s and I don't recognize it either. I see you have factory power steering which is rare, so I would suspect something to do with that. Or maybe the air cleaner. Nice job so far.

Don't know why, but I'm sure it's part of the steering pump bracket support. Here's a screen shot of a later 250 with similar bracket, part #6.
