Replacing Rear Main Seal on 87 burb 350

It seems that I have a rear main seal leak on my 87 GMC burb with a 350 5.7. My question is... I'm a relative newby to heavy under the hood work. I've done plenty of alternator, water pumps, even replaced the rear end... but never dropped a tranny or rebuilt an engine.

Is replacing the rear main seal a relatively easy task given that background? Are there any sites or posts that outline the process?
