No Articulation when off Road, Can I do This?

Hello everyone,

I have what looks like 6 leaves on each of the leaf springs on the rear of my truck. My buddy's trucks rear end has lots of articulation but my rear stays straight. I was wondering if I could remove about 3 of those leaves without sagging the rear too much to reduce its height. I have a 6 inch block under all those leaves so hopefully if I do remove some springs it won't drop too much. Or I can just get a taller block

Thanks.

for one i would get rid of the block and certainly not go any higher... just my honest opinion, if you remove leaves you will loose hieght. want articulation, go with a shackle flip and get rid of the blocks, or go with a smaller block. i really hope you dont have blocks up front too..

A 6" block is really big! I would do a shackle flip and lose/shorter block and drop a leaf or two. The idea is to have a soft leaf pack. Just removing a few leaves would soften AND lower your truck. Flip the shackle, drop a couple leaves (I would take off the shorter leaves closer to the bottom of the pack IMO), and get a shorter block to take out any extra lift caused by the shackle flip.
Also, that shorter block will cause LESS spring wrap which is a very very good thing.
