Need a favor
Could anyone with a half ton that in disassembeled measure the diameter and length of the stock front springs. I talked with a guy today that has a 68 swb for sale, but it has no springs in it. I want to see if a set of Chevelle front springs will work. I remember a post about using stock Chevelle in the rear to lower a truck a few inches...
Thanks Chuck

Lowering springs themselves really aren't very expensive, but add in the correct lowered shock and the front end alignment and the price goes up. Of course if all you do is cut the springs, the cost of tires will kill ya'.
good luck, scott p.s. look at the Early Classic Enterprises site (link on the home page) for an idea on cost.

Tim Christian carries the lowering springs. If I remember right they run around $120.00 or so a pair.
