Power Steering Bracket on a 250
While my SB engine is in process...
I got a power steering box and pump from an 84 Chevy. The box basically bolts-up to my '69 GMC without any problem. I might even be able to use the origingal steering column. I need advice about the pump. Anyone know which brackets will mount this thing onto the motor? I know a 250 with power steering is a bit of a rare bird.

you could try looking for some bracket off a 70's Nova in a wreckign yard. They ran 250 inline with hei's and a lot of them had power steering in them

Thanks for the suggestion. Quite a few cars used that engine didn't they. A guy I know had a GM HEI in his 250 - that must have been from a newer engine.

A picture's worth a 1000 words...
Thanks for the pic. I'll follow the Nova lead.

also don't forget the BOP nova clones, to include the buick apollo and olds omega. I can't remember what the pontihack is at the moment. also, base model BOP Chevy 68-72 A bodies came with 250's as well. Check for those too.
