aliens

Have some of those aliens that crashed there years ago help you out. The project will go much faster. ("faster",...whether it's time to completion or down the road will be determined by them of course.

Very cool! I have two of those front clips as well...one on my '67 and one on my '68 GMC! They are the best!

Should be a pretty killer looking truck when it's done do you have the cab and bed or just the rollling chassis and front clip...

I have a 72 a/c cab with one spot of rust on the lower right rocker panel and I found a virtually perfect bed in Texas that I need to go pick up next week.

PTS,

Have you ordered the Baer Brakes, I am thinking of getting a set of them myself and was wondering about the price and which style you were going with.

I have not ordered the brakes yet. Beware which kit you will choose due to the caliper hanging out further than the flat mounting surface on the wheel. It will take a special wheel with a special built pad to clear, therfore; adding lots of costs and a headache if you already have your wheels. The only way to get around the problem if you have wheels is to order the right kit or run a spacer hence increasing pad depth hence changing your backspace which could be a major factor if your truck is lowered. If you have any questions, please let me know. You can also vist Baers site for info. Baer's information you need is referred to as a template.

Fitting the new ECE trailing arm cross member. I also welded a x-brace so that I can transport frame to sand blaster. Frame is currently square within 0.25"

Also is a pic of the 72 posi rearend that has been hot tanked, sand blasted, and new Richmond 3:73 gears and rebuild kit installed.
