That looks like a good price for what you are getting .
The headlight conversion was one of the best mod's I have done on the truck mine are just stock looking with the blue bulb's . Just make sure the bulb's are 65 Watt's or less to protect your wiring harness .

Ricks sells similar for $35. a set with the bulbs. He shipped 2 sets from arizona to ky for $11. It pays to do business with our own suppliers from the board. They provide quality product, at fair prices and back up their product with quailty service and support. E-bay=====good luck!

Check out the Sylvania SilverStar H6024ST. A standard replacement bulb with 4000K color temp it's nearly as bright as HID @ 55/65 watts. I replaced my lights with the Sylvania CoolBlue H6024CB lamps @ 3500K they're awesome, noticeably brighter and whiter (not blue) than standard halogens. After I bought the Cool Blues though I found out about the better SilverStars, I haven' t seen any on the shelf though, so I may order a set.

I have always charged actual shipping, or even lost on shipping when I underestimated. I don't mind paying a little extra, but I will never buy from someone who jacks the shipping that much. Such is life. Last edited by cduster; 05-26-2004 at 10:52 PM. |

i've got the hella conversion and love it! for me, glass lenses are better than plastic, but all the late model guys are running them, and they don't seem to have much problem. i also run hella 100/55 H4 bulbs - bright as the sun, but they do draw some power! then throw in the PIAA professional racing driving lights at 100 watts each, and with the high beams, i can throw 400 watts down range! and yes, i have my PIAA's wired to only come on with the high beams. nothing bugs me more than super bright driving/fog lights on oncoming traffic! if you are thinking of running big bulbs, i agree that you should go over your wiring to make sure it is up to the task!

I also have the glass hellas. They are awesome. I am running 100 watts on high as well. I upgraded all of the wiring and am running relays. There is no way I would go back to stock.

I have the silver star's and love em really bright and put's out a nice white light... I don't think there is anything wrong with a plastic headlight as most newerr car's have them ... Only down fall would be when the clear plastic turn's white..

I bought the conversion from ricks. They really are great lights and are made of glass. They are also DOT approved, something to think about with inspections...
