How to fix Bedside Toolbox
Well I got some parts from tnchev and wanted to fix my lock setup on the toolbox door..
PO had safety wire and spring where the rod would go on the left side. Fixed that. Then went to tackle the handle and latch assembly.. Well the handle on the outside has broke off its piece that goes into the latch part.. I figured I could Fab up a piece and weld something there but I can't figure out how to get the handle off the front.. All I see is the handle and the bar it rides on.. How do you get it off the bar.. Or am I screwed.. Once I figure this out I cwill be able to open and close it without sticking needle nose pliers into the lock hole and pulling down the latch. Like I'm stealing something Thanks Guys

My truck is in the body shop as of today. My toolbox door is too rusted to save, so I will be doing away with it. If you want the handle and assy off of it let me know, as it is still in good working order. I would have to go get it from the body shop.
