Tie Rods
I have a 71 SWB, whats involved in replacing the tie rods??
Is it difficult?? Thanks |

Take measurements for reinstallation,, some penetrating oil,, a pickle fork and a BFH.

Hey Gordo are the measurements so you can install the new ones as close as the old ones till you get the front end aligned. Anything else need to be changed while your doing these.

Yep, that's what I did! And guess what they weren't even close. I thought that I had them almost dead on but nope, way off! A sturdy two jaw puller works also but since you're replaceing them I would go with the BFH and pickle fork.
