1st Post. Any opinions on L48 motor?
Have a 71 with no drivetrain and was offered a running 75 Olds with 350 L48 and 350th. I hate to blaspheme about the possibility of putting this in my Chevy, but will probably be forgiven due to being a newbie to the board.
Thanks for having me. |

Welcome to the board. GM in GM no problem with blasphemy. The olds block is different from the SB Chevy so I don't think it is a driect bolt in. Off the top my head I'd check with CrazyLonghorn. I believe he had a Olds in his at one time.

Welcome... I thinks there a member or two or more with olds engines. I know there a local guy here with a 403 I think. Saw a BB 455 in BC once when I was there too.
