Crapy Friday
Whata Weekend And It Is Only Saturday, Friday I Go Straight Home
And My 401k Check Was In The Mail, So I'm Like Cool. My Wife Comes Home Early Because She Doesn't Feel Good, Of Course I Was Still Here Because They Were Spraying The House And I Couldn't Leave Untill They Were Done. So I Take Her Ride To The Bank To Deposit My Check And They Are Gonna Hold It Till Like 7/7 ? Wtf, They Are A Sucky Ass Bank Imo, Then I'm Already Mad I Go To Leave And The Damn Blazer Won't Start, Now I'm Like Wtf, I Just Put A New Alt. On It 2 Sat. Ago, After 30 Min. Someone Jumps Me Off, I Go To My Budy's Shop And He Checks It Out, He Says It Was Charging Its Ass Off, Then He Put A Load On It And U Guessed It, It Died. ( Battery ) Well I Couldn't Drive It 2 Sears Because They Won't Honor Your Bat. Warranty If U Got A New Alt. So I Run 30 Min. Home, Take Out The Battery, Jump In The H*nda And Go To Sears, At This Point I Have Killed Like 3 And Half Hours Sweatin In The Heat. Wife Calls And Says She Is Hungry, ( Here Is The Good Part ) Then I Go By Ol Papa John's Grab Some Pizza, Fly Home ( Like 80 Mph ) Eat Pizza & Drink Bear And Then Go To Bed. I Almost Forgot, Before Bed I Had To E-mail "1972blazer" And Tell Him It Would Be At Least 3 Weeks Till He Gets His Money And Like A Month Till I Get My New Blazer.

In this day and age I think it is ridiculous when banks pull this SH!T- We had a huge check come thru our business from a business that we did work for (IKEA) and the bank held the check for 7 days! Then they held it longer than the promised 7 days and I bounced checks because of it and the bank wouldn't reverse the fees!! I changed banks that day! Bunch of crap! Sorry to hear you have to wait for the blazer! I know how hard that can be!

I have had the same problem. I have found that if it is a regular check, you can bring it to any branch of the bank it is drawn on and just cash it.
Then it is a question of how far you are willing to drive. |
