88 GMC C1500 Parts

I just picked up an 88 GMC 1/2 ton mostly for the bed. Front clip is already gone. I'm going to part the rest of the truck, so if you need anything, email me at showme5@earthlink.net .

Bluestreak, I messed up. It's an 88 Scottsdale, base model. The tailgate has Chevrolet painted on it. Have you checked Ebay? I was missing a letter on my GMC tailgate and got a set there.
Litdave, I'll have to check the glovebox and see if the sticker is still in there. I just picked up the truck at Mt Juliet Monday evening and have it on the west side of Nashville.

I live near Springfield Missouri, but I am working a construction project in Nashville for the next year. I'm planning to take the truck home Saturday, but if the rearend will work for you, I'll pull it and bring it back. You are welcome to come look at the truck Friday eve. if you want.

Do you know if it is TBI? I will buy the throttle cable bracket and various injection components.

Greg, email me with what parts you need and I'll check and see if they are all there. It is TBI.
Litdave, I looked and the option sticker is gone. I am going to take the bed off next weekend and will see if I can find the code on the axle.

A couple of questions you might be able to answer easily.

Is the rear end 6-lug or 5-lug and how wide is it measured from wheel mount surface to wheel mount surface?

Do you still have the front spindles/disc brakes/calipers? I am looking for the 6-lug assemblies for a 2wd truck.
Thanks!

I need the bracket mounted to the intake manifold that supports the throttle cable. Also the air cleaner and possibly the TBI. Do you know what the service number on the ECM is? Its the computer mounted behind the glovebox (I think). Thanks

The truck is a 5 lug front and rear. I'll measure it next weekend and get back to you. Greg, I'll pull the glovebox out and get back to you with the number.
