New Member Restoring 67 Chevy Stepside
What are the best finishes to use on a oak bed and how do you apply them?

Welcome again from Mississippi, but the central part this time. Personally, my boards are covered in a high quality coat of oil, grease, and spilled gasoline. (Hey, it's a truck and I use it).

Welcome from Tampa, My dad live in KY though. I have a 47 chevy with bed wood and I sanded it so that it was super smooth the used a high quality stain and urathane. I have a dark color truck so I decided to stain a little darker. Some just use the ureathane and looks really good. Good luck with the truck

Welcome Labdad
The guys and girls on this board are awesome. They have helped me much more than I have ever helped anyone else, but hopefully now that my truck is almost finished, that will change. Good luck on your project
