lower fender moulding

On the very front lower moulding peice, how does it come off? I have the fender off right now, and there is a nut on the rear of the moulding, and on the front of the moulding there are screw threads coming from the fender to the inside of the truck(the screw head is under the moulding), How do you remove it with out bending the peice?

The molding as originally made has two black screws holding the front down and they are in the black stripes. The two screws are phillips. The rear of the molding is held in place with one clip that holds to the fender with a 3/8"
speed nut.

If you don't see the screw heads it is possible that someone tightened them too much and they were pulled through the chrome. I would remove the 3/8" nut and see if the front screws are holding them on or not.
