here it is Almost finished. Still need to cut off the extra 1/4 rod on the air cleaner, and get a new alt. It has been broken in.

Also need to et a smaller air cleaner. The engine is a 350 .30 over. New cam, pisons, rods and more. Got a steal on the rebuild....$452.00. The builder needed Heat and ac in house. So we just swapped labor and paid for parts.

Hey great work! What a huge difference. Just curious how you get your hood closed with that super-duper length of all-thread? (LOL)

The fire wall was painted with Tintable "Hippo liner" (bed linner). For $80.00 you get everything you need...even the spray gun.Dries to the touch in 3 hours. Fully cures in 24 hours.

Hippo Liner huh. Did you choose to only do the firewall, or did you do the inner fenders to match? It looks pretty nice, would love more information and closer pics if you have any. Being meant for bed liner, I bet it holds up well to heat and oil etc... Nice choice, but wonder how hard it would be to remove down the road KILLER ENGINE THOUGH!!
