How do you take the front rotors off on a 4x4???
I'm new to front solid axle 4x4's and was wondering what is involved to replace rotors? It appears its all part of the hub assembly.

The rotors are held onto the hub by the wheel studs. If you have a press use that, if not you can pound them out with a brass hammer. Once the studs are all out the rotor & hub should seperate. It may take a few taps with a hammer, but they should come off. If your replacing the rotors, make sure both mating surfaces are clean & smooth, put the studs in and tighten them up evenly. This will pull the new rotors onto the hub . If the rotor don't run true you may have to have them turned.

I wouldn't trust "pulling" them in with the lug nuts. Press/drive them in with the same procedure used to remove them. You will put undue strain on the threads by trying to pull them in.
