K5 Blazer on Monster Garage

Did anyone see the newest Monster garage? They made a 80-something K5 4X4 Blazer a Pikes Peak 2WD racer! Check your local listings.

If someone wants to buy one I'll install it and take it to the dyno. Only stipulation is that I keep it

i loved the damm thing!,the only bad side i saw about it is the they should just bolt a chevy suspension instead of cutting the crap out the frame, anyways it was a truck suspesion, but it was kind of cool to see a truck like ours getting customised in tv.

Well that truck started a a 4x4. While they could have bolted up a complete 2wd front to it it was probably faster just to weld on a good front end with better steering set up.

Yes you can make the Chevy 2wd front work good but they didn't even have that as a starting point.

Over all it was not a bad show. Would have been better if Jesse crashed but can't have everything.

Sad part is is they paid 8K for that Blazer! I would have sold them mine for half that...and it is already 2wd and lowered!

I thought this was a great episode of Monster Garage. Seeing Jesse James' hand shake at the end was cool too.....
