Got good eyes? Help me out
What does the tag on these headers say?
Can anyone use their computer to jack the picture size up or something? I need a set and wonder what brand they are.

Sorta' looks like HEDMAN, but maybe that's the power of suggestion after reading the other posts. I actually thought it was HEDMAN before reading the others.

those, my friend, are hedman headers. I see that tag so often I can recognize it from a distance. while youre at it, get a set for me also. my birthday is coming up in Dec. & I could use a set myself. they would make a very nice gift.

You probably want coated headers, but here is a new set of painted ones on ebay. Someone here may be interested. $85 is cheap to me for a new set of headers with all the goodies. NOT mine. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...e=STRK:MEWA:IT

Hey, I recognize that pic! I've got the number of the guy who was showing that frame. I'll call him and get the brand and model number for ya.

See there is a story here. I have ordered several sets of nice coated headers for my big block truck, but sent all of them back because I didn't like the quality or the fitment. Hooker namely.
I'm not afraid to spend the bucks for top notch parts, and those Hedmans do look good. I believe I'll try them. And, supercalfragalistic guy, you are the man. I hope NASA doesn't figure out that you've stolen one of their computers.

Well, I kinda cheated. The pic TxFirefighter posted was one I had previously posted in another thread (HERE). I still had the larger image on my camera, so I took that larger image and blew it up 200% with Genuine Fractals (a plug-in for Photoshop). Viola! Big legible header tag!
More info on Genuine Fractals HERE. I find it indispensable when shooting digital photos that will eventually be printed commercially. Oh yeah...once you go Mac, you never go back!

The guy that has those on ebay has sold quiet a few sets even chrome ones. They're Mandrel brand. Is that a good brand? Never used them.

I personally will use nothing other than Hedman. ok, maybe Doug Thorley ones. they just fit the best & last the longest.

Sanderson headers are AWESOME fit and quality. We used them on several cars when I was working for Harwood Street Rods. Of course, they are pretty expensive, but the quality is second to none.
I've seen the Sanderson BB3 big block Chevelle headers on trucks like ours, and they fit very well.
