275 60 15's in front?
I got my 1982 2wd Blazer delivered today and it has 275's on the back and 245's on the front. I was wondering if I could put the 275's on the front and how wide could I go on the back? It looks like it has still got a lot of room on both ends. It is lowered, but not real low.

Im pretty sure 2/4's can take 275/60/15's no problem.
Out back a 295 fills out really well.

This is mine that isn't lowered at all.... YET, but it has 275's all the way around. You shouldn't have a problem with them up front.

I have 275/60 BFG's all the way around and they work great. It is better that way for tire rotation purposes.

275/60/15's here on my 4" lowered front.
they fit good, although i did have to roll my fender lips because it was taking chucks out of the tires at first |

I'm with eric, I first have 275/60 on a 15x10 all the way around. After I did my 2.5/4 drop I had to change to a 255/60 on a 15x8 up front. It was taking chunks out of the tire anytime I hit a big bump. Stock height I was fine with them though. Hard to tell from that picture, it dosent look too low, but neither does mine. Its just the harsh bumps like going onto a bridge you have to worry about. You maybe ok with them on a 15x8 though??

I agree with Eric too when i first lowered my truck i had 275/60/15's and i was chopping the tire in the front with every little dip that you would hit. I now have 245/60/15's up front and 295/50/15's out back. There both the same height of tire just the back one's are lot more wider than the front's.

Sounds like yall have too backspacing on the wheels.
I have ran 275/60s for several years on my 72 and Its lowered 3/5 Never even thought about them rubbing. |

Yeah I gathered that Much. What im saying is the backspacing May be out too far Ive got an 85 so im familar with the wheel wells they will hold some meat.
