Idle speed

I just got my new tach installed right now in park it is about 800-825 in drive it drops to about 600-650 does this sound good? It is a automatic.

Mine is a bit slower, but I am noticing that my oil pressure is getting a tad too low, so I'm gonna bump it up to about 600 rpm in drive

That sounds right in the ball park. Mine idle at 800rpm in park and 600rpm in drive.

i just idled mine down half a turn or so; i had idled it up a full turn back prior to oil change and plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, and rotor. now it felt too high so i idled it down.
