WTH is a charcoal canister??
Yeah, what is a charcoal canister? What is it, where is it, what is it's function??

It is the vent for the gas tank, the charcoal in the canister absorbs the fumes while the gastank vents air out. It goes in the back of the cab above the rear window, it's between the inner and outer roof. I think this started to be used in 71-72.

Canister
The actual canister sits below the battery box and has a return vapor line to the gas tank. The canister is about the size of a coffee can - if you are old enough to remember coffee in the can.

Well there is one on Ebay for about 5 bucks......and yes, I remember coffee in a can.....hell I bought coffee in a can last week.
