wanted: 67-72 6cyl pick up. original

I am looking for a decent stock 67-72 (may consider64-66)half ton but will consider 3/4's. I want it to have the little 250 and manual tranny. Preferably under 125K miles, and fairly original. No butcherd hot-rods. Paint and interior doesn't matter. I want to use this as a parts chaser, fishing, yard truck. I'd like to find one with a decent cab a little rust is expected but not flintsone machine. Fenders, doors are all obtainable. An old farm truck that's been sitting and needs some attention would be perfect. (Tune up, tires and a seat cover)The last one I found my buddy begged me to sell it to him. I will consider a V8 truck if the price is right but I want to take the road less traveled. I am in the northern Oklahoma area but will travel up to 200 miles for a decent truck. Please include some history on the truck too. She'll be promised a good home Thanks guys

Well, I got a parts truck today locally anyway, A 67' no motor, front bumper and grille damage, a little cab damage where a limb fell on the roof. But the real bad looks like there's a big hole where the dash was cut for a radio and big piece of wood there. The radio looks like it's mounted where the ashtray should be but it's got a title, auto trans and nice bed all for $100. Now I just need to find a good running beat up truck and trade out some parts!!!!

med. red 72

I have a medium red 72 custom 10 250 I-6 with a 3 spd sick. It had 1 owner in Licking MO. until it was traded in to a dealer down the road in Houston, MO back in the early 90's. A local guy from near our farm bought it, and botched the title, and never did a thing with it. So it sat for a couple of years until I bought it with 81k miles. I straightend out the title issue with the state of MO., and have had a great time with it since. It was a CS10904. When I had it repainted I swapped the stepside for a fleetside. It just turned 100k in June of this year, and is very original exept the paint, seat cover, and bed. I replaced the usual hoses, clutch, brakes, tail pipe & muffler ( head pipe is original ). If you are interested I have some picture files I will e-mail you. I live in Oakville, MO about 25 minuets south of St. Louis, but my place in the country is about 40 miles south of Lebanon, MO. not to far from you. I can bring it there also. I would want $5,000.00.
