Raising the front end of my 71 1/2 ton
I want to raise the front end of my 71 swb about 1 1/2 to 2 inches to sit it level. I have went the route of trying to put coil spacers in there but no luck. I have tried the screw in kind and the rubber spacers and still no luck. What about putting a pad above or below the entire coil? has anyone ever raised there front end before? thanks, Brent

I've never raised one of these trucks, but DAYSTAR makes upper and lower spacers for coil springs that work very well. I believe that they manufacture them in 1/2" increments. Here is a link to one of the 4x4 suppliers that sells them.

You might look into 3/4 ton front springs .

I did by accident, I installed a 1 1/4" swaybar on the front and it raised the front end @ 1" (LOL) but I'm not complaining, Doug

I don't think 3/4-ton front springs will do anything for the ride height, but if it is a small block truck putting in big block front springs will.

Coil-over shocks will raise it about 1" to 1 1/2". Find at most auto part stores.
